Chase Your Dreams

Coming back from Italy—a trip I originally had very low expectations for that ended up becoming one of the best experiences of my life—really inspired me. More than anything, it reminded me just how important it is to follow your dreams.

Chasing Portugal is the physical embodiment of my dream to inspire people. When I was a kid, I grew up watching incredible films like Castles in the Sky by Taylor Steele, along with many others. Those films inspired me to travel, to surf, to create content, and ultimately to build a life doing what I love.

The real dream behind Chasing Portugal has always been to inspire others. Just like those films inspired me as a little kid, I hope that 5 or 10 years from now, someone will watch one of our episodes and think, “Wow… I want to do that.”

But Chasing Portugal is more than just something designed to inspire. It’s the physical representation of what it means to live your dream. It’s our lifestyle. Every adventure, every experience, every person we meet, and every wave we ride is a genuine fragment of our reality—a small piece of what it means to dedicate your life to chasing your dreams.

To me, doing something you truly love is the greatest form of success. It isn’t easy. Chasing your dreams is a path filled with sacrifice, obstacles, and dedication. But it’s also a path filled with purpose, fulfillment, and happiness.

Very soon we’ll be releasing our newest episode, Back to Home—Episode 11 of our 2026 season—and I’m incredibly proud of it. I think it showcases our lifestyle better than ever before, our values, our pursuit of the dream, and, most importantly, the real stories of real people.

I hope this article, along with the episodes still to come, inspires you to follow your dreams, to chase what you truly love, and to remember that happiness is the greatest measure of success.
